At the Kaiser Permanente vendor Summit hosted by AMN Healthcare Services Inc. at AMN’s San Diego, California Corporate Offices on March 21, 2014, Justin Tomlin, AMN Regional Vice President, Managed Services, announced that 24-Hour Medical Staffing Services was named Most Engaged Per Diem supplier for their high volume support of Kaiser Permanente during fiscal year 2013. This award reflected 24-Hour Medical Staffing Services’ strong support of Kaiser Permanente hospitals throughout the state of California. Ernie Bumatay, President, 24-Hour Medical Staffing Services, accepted the award. Mr. Bumatay stated that his company was honored to receive this award and appreciated the strong partnership with AMN Healthcare that made it possible. He thanked Mr. Tomlin for organizing this Kaiser Summit and for giving AMN Associate Vendors a preview of selected technology and new innovations that Kaiser Permanente is planning for the future. Accompanying Mr. Bumatay on the stage to receive the award were 24-Hour Medical Staffing Services colleagues: Linda Stone, CEO, Myrna Lavapie, Sales & Service Delivery Manager, and Krystle Garcia, Staffing Specialist. Following the Kaiser Permanente presentations and AMN awards ceremony, vendors were able to participate in a series of business workshops led by AMN subject matter experts. The summit also afforded suppliers an opportunity to network with each other, Kaiser management in attendance, and AMN management and professional staff.
